Terms and conditions.
Effective 6 August 2026
These terms apply when you access or use CPD Pocket. By using the service, you agree to use it for your own private CPD record and in line with these terms.
What CPD Pocket provides
CPD Pocket is an online-only companion for a South African healthcare Practitioner to record and understand their own continuing professional development points. One sign-in owns one private Point Tracker.
Your record and responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the activity names, point allocations, Earned Dates, and registration category you enter. Keep access to your sign-in account secure and tell us if you believe it has been compromised.
No official determination
CPD Pocket is not affiliated with or endorsed by the HPCSA. It is not an official council record, does not submit information to a professional council, and does not determine or guarantee compliance. Check official requirements and your official record directly with the relevant professional council.
Availability
The service requires an internet connection and supported device. Maintenance, provider failures, or network conditions may make it temporarily unavailable. CPD Pocket does not queue offline changes.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- access another Practitioner’s account or data;
- interfere with the service or its security;
- use automated means to abuse or overload the service; or
- use CPD Pocket for unlawful activity.
Your data and account deletion
The Point Entries you add remain your record. You can export the agreed tracker data and can delete your account from inside the app. Our handling and retention of personal information is described in the privacy notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate service notice.
